Czech Glass Mardi Gras Beads #157
Presented is a vintage strand of glass Mardi Gras beads from Czechoslovakia. These beads were thrown from the Mardi Gras parade floats in New Orleans during the 20's/30's. Various colors and shapes were typical of Czech beads of that era. The Czech paper tag "Made in Czechoslovakia" is present. Beads measure approximately 17" in length (from end to end) with a pinch barren style closure. Condition is good. Restringing is highly recommended!
