Czech Glass Mardi Gras Beads #166
Presented is a vintage strand of glass Mardi Gras beads from Czechoslovakia. These beads were thrown from the Mardi Gras parade floats in New Orleans during the 20's/30's. Various colors and shapes were typical of Czech beads of that era. The Czech paper tag "Made in Czechoslovakia" is present. Beads measure approximately 16.5 " in length (from end to end) with a spring-ring style closure. Condition is good. Restringing is highly recommended! |
