Native American and Other Ethnic Offerings
Much is to be said about Native American Jewelry. There are as many styles as tribes.  From bead work to turquoise, to beautiful inlaid stone and shell in silver. Silversmithing was taught to the Native Americans by the Mexicans. American coin silver was used in the 19th century but was soon outlawed for defacing money.  Mexican coins were used, and later sheet sterling. Included in this category, are other ethnic pieces as so many cultures offer the chance to experience their richness and way of life both past and present.
